The location was excellent, near restaurants and bars, as well as Ambleside and Grasmere. It was a great base for sightseeing in Thirlmere.- The staff members were all polite and courteous, making the experience enjoyable and fun.

Very nice room with view into the greenery. Good starting point for hikes. We also had an excellent meal.

An exceptionally comfortable and absolutely gorgeous place to stay in Thirlmere. Well-designed king room with a nice view. - Reasonably priced food for all meals. - Marvellous location so close to Keswick or Ambleside, Windermere and Keswick. - Great walks nearby.

The staff were polite, courteous, and had a good sense of humor. There was free Wi-Fi in all rooms, and the service overall was excellent. The accommodation had a central location near the nearby lake, as well as being close to Ambleside, Kendal, bars, restaurants.

This place has very welcoming staff, is centrally located, fairly clean, and offers outstanding food with a wide variety of meals.

The room had a fresh new look and a nice view, and we slept comfortably.
